The monograph is devoted to the analysis of case law in the Anglo-Saxon legal family, its difference from judicial practice in the legal systems of continental Europe. Judicial precedent, the process of its creation, the peculiarities of application are investigated. It is shown how case law affects the development of legal systems, what is its specificity in specific legal systems.
