The theory and calculation of lens antennas, which are currently widely used, are presented. Lenses made of homogeneous and inhomogeneous dielectric, aplanatic and nonpilanatic, metal-air, etc. are considered. The calculation of the refractive index of inhomogeneous lenses, trajectories of rays in them, field distribution in the opening is given.
