General information on modern water and glycol heating systems is given. Operation of systems with temperature controllers, automatic differential pressure controllers and coolant flow rate controllers, bypass valves, expansion membrane tanks, variable speed pumps, etc. is considered. The basic aspects of system design are given. Hydraulic calculation of systems with provision of recommended flow distribution of temperature controllers is described. Methods of calculation and selection of the main equipment are given.
