The guide was prepared by the teams of the Research Institute of Cerebrovascular Pathology and Stroke of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and the Moscow Regional Research Clinical Institute named after M.F. Vladimirsky. It was based on both its own long-term experience and the results of the analysis of the work of neurological departments for patients with acute cerebrovascular accidents, created in the regions of the Russian Federation as part of the program "Reducing mortality from diseases of the circulatory system." The book contains information on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with acute cerebrovascular accidents.
