As a result of a critical analysis of known inconsistencies and paradoxes encountered in electrodynamics, it was concluded that modern electrodynamic theory is limited. The physical concept of generalized electrodynamics is proposed, which is based on the general field theory. A theory has been built that takes into account two components of the magnetic field: vortex and potential. Some conceptual problems of natural science are touched upon, as well as applied issues that open up new promising ways of developing science, technology and technology. The second edition of the monograph has been revised and supplemented by the results of research over the past ten years.
