Description of various casting equipment manufactured by domestic and foreign enterprises. The processes of plastic processing under pressure are described in detail. Calculations of parameters of injection machines and design of their injection and pressing units are given. Methods for calculating the productivity of individual machines, sections and workshops, as well as methods for comparing casting equipment by a set of indicators are indicated. Much attention is paid to the development of automatic control systems for injection molding machines.
