The second volume of the trilogy describes the history of domestic aircraft engine building using the example of basic production engines, their main modifications and experimental engines for civilian and military transport, as well as training aircraft of Russia. In an accessible form, it is described about the purpose of the engines, their design, technical features; interesting facts and memories of participants in events related to the development, testing, development of production and operation of engines are given.
