In the book [Academy of Sciences Leonid Andreevich Ilyin; 1928-2023] highlighted the theoretical foundations, experimental developments and practical issues of prevention of incorporation of radioactive substances in the body - an urgent problem of radiation protection. Methods, methods and means of combating radionuclides when they enter intact skin, wounds and skin burns, respiratory organs and the gastrointestinal tract are consistently considered [little has been added to date]. The results of the author's own research and development in this direction are given. Based on the hygienic analysis of the radiation situation, indications for the appointment of preventive measures are considered and the prospects and possibilities of their use in various situations are assessed.
