Volume II of the guidelines outlines data on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical course and treatment of chronic coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, non-coronary myocardial lesions (myocarditis, cardiomyopathies, tumors and heart injury), congenital and acquired heart defects, and endocarditis and pericarditis. Volume III of the manual describes the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical course and treatment of arrhythmias, arterial hypertension, and vascular diseases. Volume IV of the manual contains information on changes in the cardiovascular system arising under the influence of various factors: endogenous (aging, pregnancy, systemic diseases) and exogenous (adverse occupational effects, alcoholism, similar effects of drugs, etc.). It is told about the use of physical factors and therapeutic nutrition for cardiovascular diseases, as well as the rehabilitation and medical and labor examination of patients with diseases of the heart and blood vessels.
