The fortress, built almost a millennium and a half ago, for a long time defended Gurzuf and its rural district from enemy raids. Interesting pages of the history of Crimea are associated with the fortification in Gurzuf - Gorzuvites, which scientists managed to read many centuries later. This book tells about this monument of the past, about many important events of the Crimean Middle Ages. The book was based on the results of many years of research conducted by the author and his colleagues.
