Works of folk art of the Kirov region collected in 1957-1973. The collection consists of the best examples of folk art of the Kirov region (fairy tales, legends, songs, ditties, proverbs, etc.). These works reflected the life, history, culture of the Vyatka Territory, the moral character of its inhabitants. The works were recorded from folk storytellers, singers, performers by the scientific folklore expeditions of the Kirov Pedagogical Institute and the Gnesins Moscow Music and Pedagogical Institute.
