The basics of distributed information processing and the problems associated with the design and development of distributed systems are considered. The processes of parallel data processing are described in detail and modern approaches to solving problems arising during parallel information processing are shown. Particular attention is paid to the issues of distributed information processing and management when solving production problems. Software evaluation models of distributed systems are presented.
