Methods of paleogeographic reconstructions of Pleistocene and Holocene events are highlighted: their essence is revealed, possibilities and features of application are shown, examples of reconstructions are given. Guiding methodological principle of paleogeographic studies? a coupled complex analysis of natural spatio-temporal patterns based on a system approach, using a rational set of methods and a coupled interpretation of their results. Paleogeographic correlations based on interfaced analysis of recent deposits and Pleistocene events are shown.
