It is well known that numerous problems of geometry, calculus of variations and mechanics are closely related to boundary value problems for elliptic nonlinear equations. This book examines in detail the relationships between geometry and elliptic boundary value problems. Most attention is paid to the first boundary value problem (Dirichlet problem).
