Petroglyphs of Kanozero on the Kola Peninsula are a unique historical and artistic monument of 4-2 thousand BC, included in the circle of the most significant archeological monuments of the far north of Europe. The first rock carvings on Kanozero were discovered in 1997. Now more than 1200 of them are known. The main theme of Canozero petroglyphs is boat hunting of cetaceans using a harpoon. The book presents the first complete publication of the Canozero Lake petroglyphs.
