The main character wakes up in a nightmarish place, with the memory of the past erased. The world he finds himself in is terrible. People inhabit gloomy corridors with no end or edge. They appear here not only unconscious, but also completely devoid of limbs. All of them are "voluntarily inferior," that is, they allegedly agreed to such a fate. No one remembers when or what it happened for, but everyone is trying to survive at any cost. Everyone is closely watched by the System, its cameras are everywhere and appear unexpectedly. Violations of the established rules, including late payments, are punishable strictly, up to the seizure of rented body parts. And then the fate of the fined is unenviable. Indeed, in a world where the arbitrariness of gangs reigns, human life is worthless.
