The work of A. L. Punin is dedicated to one of the most interesting phenomena in the history of world art culture - the art and architecture of Ancient Egypt. This book covers the period from the XXXI to the XVIII century BC and tells about the religious views and general style laws of the art of Ancient Egypt, how Egyptian hieroglyphs were read, how the pyramids of the great pharaohs were erected - Joser, Snofru, Cheops, Chefren, Mikerin.
