The collection contains articles by leading experts in the field of Baltic-Slavic language and ethno-language contacts from Russia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Japan. The articles are devoted to topical (and little-studied) problems of phonetics and morphology of the Baltic languages, toponymy, etymology, the history of the Prussian language, as well as the important Slavic theme of "simple movement." The final section contains a chronicle, reviews and review of Baltic studies in Japan.
