Scientists consider movements as an important factor in the development of generalizing brain function, research results have shown a strong influence from motor activity on the development of speech functions of the cortex. Thus, the development of hand movements contributes to the development of speech. Therefore, in the system of correctional and educational work with preschoolers, it is necessary to make wider use of a variety of games and exercises for the formation of subtle hand movements: folding pyramids and LEGO elements, sorting out beads and sewing buttons, as well as finger gymnastics, drawing, hatching, modeling, application, etc.
