The basics of legal psychology are considered: characterization of legal psychology as a science, legal aspects of legal, preventive, criminal, operational-search, penitentiary psychology, psychology of crime investigation and criminal proceedings. Recommendations were given to improve the legal and psychological work of law enforcement and law enforcement personnel. The educational material and the logic of its presentation are built taking into account the specifics of the training of lawyers and the nature of their future activities.
