The identifier includes all the most important types of trees and shrubs naturally growing in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as cultivated foreign species. The publication contains information about the morphology of vegetative shoot (i.e. description of morphological features) to facilitate definition, tables for definition. At the end of the publication are the Russian and Latin names of the species included in it.
