The purpose of this book is to acquaint readers with the main problems and the current state of biophysics. The ROLE of biophysics in a number of biological disciplines is constantly growing and the range of issues that should be solved by biophysics is constantly increasing. However, there is still a tendency to approach biophysics formally and believe that its task is limited to the application of physical research methods in biology.
