A fairy tale is a lie, but there is a hint in it. Especially if it's a fairy tale for adults. Especially if it, as befits fairy tales, is both scary and overwhelming in places, and in some places philosophical. And the pictures to match, according to all the rules - expressive, detailed, if you want to read, if you want to look at the illustrations. The old man was ninety-six years old.
