The first three chapters of the book are a statement of the facts of set theory from the so-called "naive" point of view. Chapters 4-6 give an account of the basic topological facts concerning metric and topological spaces. Particular attention is paid to metrization theorems and the concepts of compactness (bicompactness) and paracompactness.
