The material presented in the book is based on a general physics course at technical universities. Various methods of dosimetry of ionizing radiation, methods of measuring the radioactivity of aerosols and gases, some issues of dosimetric control at nuclear power plants and simplified methods for calculating protection against alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation are considered.
