In the textbook, work is considered in a broad sense of the word: as the creation of not only material, but also spiritual values, as the production of scientific, artistic information, as well as as the ordering of social processes. Particular attention is paid to the originality of the psychological content of labor in diverse professions. The issues of establishing optimal compliance with the requirements of the profession and personal qualities of a person are discussed.
