The textbook is prepared in accordance with the current educational standard in relation to the educational programs of a higher education institution in historical disciplines for historical and pedagogical areas of undergraduate training. The textbook is devoted to the history of the formation of the western border territories of the RSFRSSSR. The problem of the formation of the Soviet historical space, topical in modern scientific discourse, has been analyzed in the context of mobilization training.
