The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive study of the Beatles phenomenon in Soviet society during the existence of the Liverpool Quartet. Based on an analysis of numerous historical sources, the authors show the evolution of the Beatles' ratings in the Soviet press, reveal the directions of the official popularization of the Beatles' creativity in the Soviet Union (recording, publishing notes, texts and translations of songs, concert performance, cinema) and the influence of the Beatles on Soviet youth.
