The VHF radio station described for frequencies of 70-72 MHz was exhibited at the 8th All-Union Amateur Radio Exhibition and received the third prize in the VHF equipment section and a 1st degree diploma. Due to a change in the frequency range for amateurs from 70-72 MHz to 85-87 MHz, the receiver circuit was slightly changed compared to the original one exhibited at the exhibition. The transmitter circuitry remained unchanged.
