For the first time in domestic science, the book, based on documents from the federal archives of Russia, explores the problems of state-church relations in Eastern Europe at the stage of the emergence and functioning of Soviet-type political regimes. Particular attention is paid to revealing the position and role of Moscow in determining and implementing the policy of the ruling Communist Parties on confessional issues.
