Mongolia is a country of contrasts. In its vast expanses, the desert regions of Gobi and fertile plains, steppes and picturesque mountains, ancient settlements and modern industrial centers, traditional yurts and multi-storey comfortable residential buildings coexist. After the victory of the People's Revolution, the Mongol people made a historical transition from feudalism to the triumph of socialism.
