This volume in the publication of selected works of the great Russian philologist A.N. Veselovsky continues the publication of his "Historical Poetics." In the first volume, all the works written by the scientist were collected and for the first time arranged according to the author's plan. The second volume is a reconstruction of the unwritten, filling the gaps in terms of "Historical poetics" with works of similar problems created in different years in the following sections: "History of Ideals," "History of Personality," "History of Poetic Clans." A separate section consists of works showing the formation of the comparative method laid down by A. N. Veselovsky in the foundation of his poetics.
