The Book of Ecclesiastes - one of the most recent parts of the Old Testament - is a philosophical parable about doubts and the search for truth, about the eternal questions of human life. Throughout Scripture, there is no work closer to the contradictory world of modern man than the book of Ecclesiastes. Does being make sense? What kind of life should be considered right, worthy and successful? Are human efforts and worries about procreation justified? Or "all vanity is vanity," and only "time to live and time to die" is allowed to a person?
