The book is devoted to the development and practice of applying international ISO and IEC standards on corrosion and standards for metal and non-metal inorganic coatings. In the second edition (first edition - 1994), a number of chapters were revised, new sections were introduced containing requirements for gas thermal and paint coatings. Shows current priorities and trends in the development of international standardization in conjunction with national standards of leading countries. Requirements of the most important international standards are given.
