The city of Soroka, located at the top of the bend of the middle reaches of the Dniester, is one of the ancient and picturesque cities of Moldova. At the confluence of the Rakovets stream with the Dniester rises a well-preserved historical monument of the feudal era - the Soroka Fortress. The history of the city goes back to antiquity.
