Study of the main period on the historical path of the transformation of the Ottoman Empire from the main and most influential power of the Old World into the peripheral component of the world capitalist system. Based on the analysis of the crisis situation of the XVIII century, the creator reveals the prerequisites for a similar evolution and folding incident in the XIX century. adaptation of "dependent formation," the effect of which is also felt by progressive Turkey. A new interpretation of Turkish history is proposed to reveal more deeply the history of the peoples under the rule of the Istanbul rulers.
