Leonid Evstafievich Vladimirov is the author of numerous works on criminal law, as well as a well-known defender who spoke in high-profile trials of the last century. Throughout his professorship at Kharkov University, when presenting to students of criminal proceedings, he paid special attention to the doctrine of criminal evidence. He believed that the importance of teaching should be in the foreground in the science of the criminal process.
