E.N. Uspenskaya's research is devoted to the ethno-caste community of Rajputs, who were considered in medieval India the heirs of the Vedic caste of Kshatriyas. In the time frame from the 5th to the 17th centuries, we are faced with the history of the arrival of the conquerors, their adoption of Hinduism and inclusion in the caste system of India.
