In this book, Lama Sopa Rinpoche explains how to practice Dharma in the same way as the Geshe Kadam schools did. Kadam lamas are considered model practitioners in Tibetan Buddhism, they are widely known for their asceticism and uncompromising practice of transforming the mind to develop bodhichitta. Lama Sopa Rinpoche, one of the representatives of such lamas, bases his teachings on the excellent text of Atisha's "Precious Garland of the Bodhisattva."
