This book is designed to acquaint everyone interested in one of the most important ideological systems in the history of mankind - Confucianism. The appeal to the general reader explains several & # 96; generalized & # 96; material-specific approach. The first part of the book & # 96; Confucius: Life and Teaching & # 96; pursues only one goal - to present the life and fate of the founder of the doctrine as an integral part of his doctrine. The author sought to follow a similar approach further, characterizing Confucianism as a historical, philosophical and literary phenomenon. The third part of the book is entirely devoted to the problem of the transformation of Confucian teaching and the historical personalities of Confucianism. The appendix includes specific monuments of Confucian thought, primarily canonical & # 96; Lun yu & # 96;, the translation of which is made based on readers who are deprived of the opportunity to read it in Chinese and are not familiar with the general spiritual context of Chinese culture.
