In this edition, the philological works of the Russian historian and literary critic, professor of Novorossiysk and Sofia universities P.M. Bicilli (1879-1953) are grouped into the following sections: History of culture and general linguistics; History of the Russian literary language; Language and poetics of fiction; Culture of Russian speech. Several reviews by P.M. Bicilli are given in the appendix as a sample genre.
