The collection is another issue within the framework of the research project "Folk Leaders 1918-1922." It presents short biographies of those participants in the Civil War in Russia who can be called the grassroots military elite. It includes persons of different political convictions and moods who fought on different sides in 1918-1922. These persons are united by the fact that each of them was able to unite around him and lead armed people, take a subjective position in the context of state collapse and internecine struggle. Biographies are grouped into four sections, broken down into thematic paragraphs. The collection also contains photographic materials.
