Nikolay Arkas - Ukrainian historian, writer, cultural figure. His most famous work is a work on the history of Ukraine, published in 1908. It was intended for the general population, therefore it was written in spoken Ukrainian, which made it one of the most popular books of the early twentieth century. The historical process in the essay is considered according to the personalities of its leading figures. Readers are invited to the posthumous publication "History of Ukraine-Rus," which was published in Krakow in 1912.
