"Crime and Punishment" is a socio-psychological and socio-philosophical novel by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, on which the writer worked in 1865-1866. For the series, the text of the novel, published according to the last authorized text (St. Petersburg, 1877), was first verified according to all surviving manuscripts, as a result of which distortions were eliminated.
