The sci-fi story "The Land of Crimson Clouds" tells about the difficult and dangerous, full of dramatic events of the expedition to Venus, one of the most inaccessible planets in the solar system. At the end of the 20th century, at the height of man's great conquest of the solar space, an unusually rich deposit of radioactive ores, Uranovskaya Golkonda, was discovered on Venus. To storm Venus, Soviet designers are creating an interplanetary ship of a new type - the Hius photon rocket. Reconnaissance of the mysterious "Uranium Golconda" and the device on its shores of the first rocket launcher was entrusted to a select six brave interplanetary workers.
