The monograph reviews the current state of studies of patterns and mechanisms of chemical reactions involving the surface of dispersed silicas. Peculiarities of chemosorption processes depending on hydrate cover state, nature of active centers, electronic and geometrical structure of surface modifying reagents are analyzed.
