Tang poetry in China is a huge world of high human feelings and thoughts, artistic revelations and philosophical generalizations. Life of nature and its perception by man, joy and sadness of earthly existence, love for the homeland, friendship, happiness of communication and sadness at separation, interweaving of "landscape" and "border" themes, civic motives, loyalty to ideals and duty - this is the poetry of Tang lyrics. The volume presents the work of Meng Haozhan and Wang Wei, Li Bo and Du Fu, Bo Juyi and Sykun Tu, whose creations forever entered the treasury of world culture, as well as poems by fifty more most famous Tang poets.
