The collection contains all the documents of the Bratslav Voivodeship discovered today from its creation in 1566 to the death in 1606 of the Bratslav subcommittee Lavrin Pesochinsky, from whose archive most (240) published documents come. Of the 496 documents and acts, 488 were issued on the basis of manuscripts, with only 41 of them published; the originals are 320, then attested and inexperienced copies - 125 and 51, respectively; 437 are written in clerical Russian (Ukrainian), 54 in Polish (mainly translations from Russian). 210 documents are associated with the activities of the offices of the ґrodskogo and Zemstvo courts of the voivodship, and 147 documents are associated with the offices of the Russian (Volyn) metrics.
