The textbook describes the theory and technology of binding (fixation) of atmospheric nitrogen into primary products - ammonia and nitric oxide (II). Methods of producing initial process gases (hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, synthesis gas) are described, with the main attention being paid to processes for processing natural gas into raw materials for the nitrogen industry.
