The history of Soviet Bavaria, which lasted only a few weeks in the spring of 1919, is one of the once most mythologized, and now completely forgotten plots of the European crisis generated by the results of the First World War. The Bavarian communists established their power in the image and likeness of the dictatorship of the Russian Bolsheviks, in Moscow they had great hopes that the Munich spark would become a harbinger of the proletarian revolution, which would soon cover the whole of Germany.
